To upload (send) from a Mac:

You will need an FTP Client Program installed on your computer. We recommendAnarchie, but it has no free trial period. Alternatively, Fetch can be used as a temporary demo, and that will do the job (For continuous use we recommend buying either program via Internet). In the main window enter "ftp://noporsuerte.com/" and the folder "incoming" will appear. Drag with the mouse the files to be uploaded to the folder and the transfer will begin. Only us have access to that folder but you can upload any file to it without any password. Files can be of any size. The server does NOT accepts Folders or Directories, only individual files. It is recommended that the files have a windows compatible name, with 8 characters dot 3 extension characters (for example "audio.wav"). Because the server is UNIX, extension is very important to avoid corruption and also no more than one dot, nor spaces or symbols should be used in the names. For audio files ".wav", ".aif". and if quality is no issue ".mp3" are the recommended formats. For Design work art or other file types (Specially Sound Designer II or".sd2") compression must be used ".zip" or ".sit" compressed files or HQX Encoding (.hqx) are recommended or even image file format ".img". or ".dmg".

To download or receive files we have for you (Mac and Windows):

Make sure you have the password we e-mailed you to de-compress the files. Files will be compressed and password encoded for your exclusive use. Look for the folder assigned to you and open it by double clicking after you click here:

ftp://noporsuerte.com/

To download your files control-click on Mac, (right-click on Windows) on its icon and select "Download to disk". Select a target folder if necessary and the file will appear after the transfer in your target choice or Downloads Folder, where you usually download other files.

Our Server is in the Continental U.S. and is generally fast, depending on the user´s connection type. Our Service cost varies depending on file size and time up in the server.
